Question about Belkin Computers & Internet
Have just purchased IPad and trying to set up wi-fi on it but each time I put in what I think is the password with the various numbers on the belkin router I am getting the unable to connect box with dismiss display coming up . Have been successful with set up on friends router the router I am trying to set up with a Belkin model no F5D8635-4 vi am I not finding the password I have tried all of the number combinations on the bottom of the router .Is there anything else I can do

Before you start :
Make Sure the Wireless Switch on your Computer is turned Off (If you are using a laptop to connect to the router )
Make sure that the Light on the Router is Solid Green
Step 1 : connect a computer to the router (Wired)
Step 2 : Open Router Setup by typing http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar of Internet Explorer
Step 3 : Once you are at the router setup .. on the left side underneath Wireless you can find Wi-Fi Protected Setup
Step 4 : If it is asking for a password .. leave the password field blank and click submit
Step 5 : Disable Wi Fi Protected Setup and click apply changes
Step 6 : Now on the left under wireless click Security
Step 7 : If it is asking for a password .. leave the password field blank and click submit
Step 8 : Change the Security mode to WPA-PSK (you can also choose WPA-2 but sometimes it doesnt work )
Step 9 : Type a password (8 Characters , It is Case Sensitive)
Step 10: Click apply Changes
Step 11: On the left , Under Wireless Click Channel and SSiD
Step 12: Change the SSiD to a Different name , Change the Wireless Channel to 11
Step 13:Click Apply Changes
Turn On the Wireless Switch on the Computer (If you are using a Laptop to Connect between router)
Now try to Connect to this new network on both your wireless Computers and Ipad
