Something in the hard drive system is failing.

check that the cables are pushed in all the way
go into the BIOS & check if it detects the hard drive name & model

If it does not detect the hard drive, then you need to replace the drive.

If it does detect the drive, then the Master Boot Record (MBR) is likely corrupted. There are Windows commands that can fix this, but I think it varies with Window versions. You can google to repair the MBR for your version of Windows. If the MBR is damaged, there's a good chance more is damaged, so MBR might not be the only problem.

If you can't or don't fix the MBR, you will require a full format and reinstall of Windows, applications, printers, etc.

Go into BIOS and change the boot order to CD, then HD, and so on. Just remove floppy from being first.

Plus make sure BIOS does recognize hard drive so it boots and gets rid of the no boot device.

If you are given the option to go into the setup (F2) try to disable the floppy disk drive or move the hard drive up in the boot order.

SOURCE: keyboard failure and diskette drive 0 seek failure

How old is the computer, could it still have warranty? USB ports are often protected with fuses. Some latest stuff has resetable fuses, but many are one-time that do not heal. Did you try the keyboard in the front USB's The thing of biggest concern though is that this happened in coincidence, meaning you may have a motherboard hardware failure. (the reason I mentioned warranty)

This means your hard drive has either failed or is disconnected.

Given the age of the computer it's most likely the drive has failed.

Let me know if there is important data saved on the computer. Otherwise, replace the drive and re-install windows and it should work again.

The "floppy" disk-drive (3.5-inch diskette) on your computer is broken.
Press F1 to ignore the error, and to boot from your C: drive.
Or, press F2 to enter BIOS SETUP, and then navigate through those "setup" screens to tell the computer to "disable floppy seek", or change the setting from "3.5 1.44Mb drive" to "none".
Or, take the computer to a technician, and buy a replacement disk-drive, and get it installed.

Diskette drive 0 seek failure

Does the PC have a floppy drive? If it doesn't It appears that your BIOS (Basic PC setup) thinks that there is one! I think that pressing f2 on boot will bring you into the BIOS setup.
In there, see can you locate any reference to 3.5 inch floppy and amend it to the setting which suits the config of your PC.

Please take care as to what other settings you change in the BIOS

If you find this sugestion helps please take time to rate it
