Just open the TV after disconnecting it from AC wall outlet. Us a hot air blower to dry it out. Wait till all water has been evaporated out, and then plug it and see, whether it works. If not, contact any service technician to make it right. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center.

SOURCE: water spilled inside 25'' Sanyo will not turn on

The water has already done its damage. Try leaving the set unplugged and drying out for a few days then try it again otherwise you will most likely spend more to repair than to replace.

SOURCE: My sons may have squirted water into my dad's (old

Personally when I do encounter a TV with known water damage [set was plugged in of course] I will regretfully deny repair. It will be next to impossible to fully recover a repair. This is my very honest opinion!

What are aquatic plants?

These are plants that adapted over time to living in water. Now they need water to live. For example, the water lily is an aquatic plant that can only live in water.

Water leak at back of ice maker ,made big ice ball at rear of tray then ran out on floor. Turned off water ,cleaned out ice now wont do anything .. Tray wont fill , rack dosent move. Was making ice good...

sounds like you have a bad water valve solenoid. check the ½" diameter fill tube that feeds the water into the fillcup of the icemaker, you may have to remove the icemaker to see inside. is this tube frozen with ice? if it is, you have a bad solenoid.

Door locked and will not open. i ran an empty cycle to see if that would work and it doesn't.....thanks! Margit

IF water is left in machine then door wont unlock, check pump, run drain cycle. If pump runs but doesnt remove water, then check filter at bottom (small door on bottom front) water will come out when this is done. If washer is completely empty of water and door locked then you may access lock release tab from bottom or reaching down from top to lock asm. Then check lock

Water down the front of the screen and the tv turned off and it won't turn back on. Will it dry out and turn on later?

its not good remember water and power does not mix most likely shorted some parts if you do take this set to tv shop make sure you move the plant to a diffrent location okay when the tv is on it has all diffrent voltage okay when you add water to a printed circuit board its not good take to tv shop see what they say i prbally would not waste the the money on a repair when you can buy a tv w/ a warrany okay have a good day

Wait for it to completely dry out. If you still have the same problem, the circuitry is probably damaged because of the water.
Contact Sanyo tech support and see if you can get it replaced under warranty. (Dont mention that you dropped it in water, though :)

Katana II likely water damage... Help!

Take the battery off, unfold the phone, set it in a warm, dry place and pray like heck. plugging it in may help it stay warm but leave it off.
If its minor water exposure it'll likely be fine in 2-3 days.
