Question about Acer TravelMate 803LMi Notebook
I was surfing the net when all of a sudden, the laptop just cut off. When I push the power button nothing happens. I unplug the ac adapter and try starting it battery only and nothing happens. I plug in the ac adapter and remove the battery and try to start it and nothing happen. I notice when the ac adapter is plugged into the wall only(not plugged into the laptop) there is a solid green light on the ac adapter. When I plug in into the laptop the ac adapter just blinks that with and without the battery.
I am looking for any and all solutions / tips to troubleshoot this issue.
Thanks in advance for anyone post to this issue.
From what you've described so far, it appears the motherboard has failed. Additionally you can remove any other components you can easily access such as hard drive, optical drive, memory and any cards. If there is no change with all components removed then it is most likely the motherboard.
