SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Messed up hdd settings, blue screen when i hook it up to my tv.

Yea,

You could try a different LCD TV, and use it to set it back to its old settings. Or try using the composite (yellow connectors from 359T output to video in on tv) then switch the tv to video input on remote, which should allow you to at least see the menu to change the resolution back to something your LCD will work with.

I have a toshiba A215-S7437 and i get the error message read disk error when trying to boot up

A disk error is a fatal error on the hard drive, SMART monitoring will show you this in the BIOS, restoring to factory settings will not cure it.
You need to get a new hard disk and reinstall your OS

Hdd fatal error 05 on iomega 500 no files showing on screenjust error message

Fatal Error 5 is normally indicative of a Disk Failure. Because the OS can't read the portions of the drive.

Hdd is not detected, do you think i need to change my harddisk

Difficult to say but the first thing you should do is open the hard drive cover and make sure it is still positioned properly.

If it appears to be OK then and the laptop wont boot up properly then it may be time to take out the drive and test it a little more before you decide its dead. For this you will need a 2.5" SATA enclosure (they can be had pretty cheap)

remove the hard drive from its holder and adapter if there is one on that model and connect it to your enclosure.
Now connect that to a PC.
It should find new hardware maybe mass storage device and if the hard drive is ok it may well show up in windows explorer. If not shut down and restart the pc and check via the system hardware tab that it shows up under hard disks or removable disks. if it doesn't it may well be pooched but if it is you can run some disk diagnostics from windows and see if its fatal or not. If you can see right click on it ans select properties then select properties then tools then error checking and tick the two boxes while you are there to auto fix it. It may ask you to restart the computer to complete the task that's ok

Problems establishing audio output from DVD RW to TV

If you own a Digital Video Recorder, such as TiVo, or a DVR from a Cable or Satellite provider, then you know you can record to the device's hard drive to view TV shows at a later time, much like the old VCR. However, saving those TV shows becomes difficult as the Hard Drive starts to fill up. The answer to saving your shows is to record them to DVD! This can be accomplished easily by hooking up a DVD Recorder to your DVR
Here's How:
  1. 1)record a TV show on your DVR that you want to save to DVD!
  2. 2)Turn on the DVR, DVD Recorder and the TV that the DVD Recorder is connected to. In my case, I have my Samsung DVD Recorder (no hard drive) hooked up to my TV via an RCA Audio/Video cable from the rear outputs on the DVD Recorder to the rear RCA inputs on my TV. I use a seperate DVD Player for playing DVDs, but if you use your DVD Recorder as a player as well, use the best cable connections you can to connect to the TV. See the articleTypes of A/V Cables for more info.
  3. 3)Connect an S-Video or RCA video cable and composite stereo cables (red and white RCA plugs) from the DVR to the inputs on your DVD Recorder. If your TV has Component inputs, connect the Component Out from the DVD Recorder to the Component In on the TV, otherwise you can use S-Video or Composite. You will still need to use RCA audio with your video connection.
  4. 4)Change the input on your DVD Recorder to match the inputs you are using. Since I'm using the rear S-Video input, I change my input to "L1", which is the input for recording using the rear S-Video input. If I was recording using the front analog cables it would be "L2", the front Firewire input, "DV". The input select can typically be changed using the DVD Recorder remote.

IQue 3600 Fatal Alert

You'll have to do a hard reset. Push the reset button, then hold the power button until the Palm Power appear and then release the power button. Next it will ask if you want to erase the data. I hate to said this but select yes. No will not work. Then after the inital set up run a HotSync.
