This is a good question and I see everyone asking about insignia and dynex repair.
These two brands are made by best buy and sold only at best buy in the US.
Thus, theonly place to get it fixed is at your best buy store if you are still under warranty.
If you would like to try and fix it yourself than you may be able to find the battery online. But be prepared for sme tiny components and soldering the battery in.

Mp826-8g mp3 player is not holding charge I used my usb cord and another one and it still says low battery unpluged and when pluged its full.

Problem on internal battery.
It means the battery inside is not good anymore and you have to replace it. Bring it to any electronic tech shop if you have no idea in repairing that unit. It will take some soldering to install a new battery.
Hope Fixya helped you out!

I was loading music to my mp3 sansa after i was done i disconnect the wire from my mp3 all the sudden my mp3 screen saying disconnected and don't kno how to take it off the screen or try to fix it

Well try it charging if does not then connect it with you computer or laptop and if computer does recieve the noticfication that mp3 player is connected then remove it safely do not disconnet wire from the player but first from computer or laptop then try it if gets on.... if doesn't without connected to computer the reconnect with computer and format your player by right clicking on the mp3 drive and chosing format button . Let me tell that there is not much possibilty that it would be working again usually Directly disconnecting gives the memory **** to mp3 player as its not furter connected to stable power supply which would explain that it won't be working or any repaires would help then

Won't switch on. Tried charging it. the blue light occasionally flashes when plugged into a laptop, not into the mains. I have tried all the reset button and all those stupid holding down certain buttons...

have u tried leaving it connected to the laptop for hours together?a blue light flashing generally means battery charging...if its a battery problem, leaving it to charge may as well bring it back to life.

Ipod touch 1st Gen turns off during restore. (Need Help!) Please?

You might want to try holding the top button and the home button until it turns on, then let go of the top button. Keep the home button held down until the "Plug Into iTunes" picture comes up. You should be able to normal restore now. If this doesn't work, just go get it repaired.

Where can I find a new battery for my old Lyra RD2840 40GB mp3 player

The battery for Lyra RD2840 is a built in Lithium Ion Polymer Rechargeable Battery. It doesn't say removable as with other MP3 players.I believe, you will need to bring the mp3 player to the manufacturer's service center to have its battery replaced. =(

Problem connecting to computer

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

My mp3 is gay

Try a different USB port, preferably in the back of the PC. If not, try connecting it without the battery. You can still manage the music manually without the battery. You can add to this question if you have more problems. Best of Luck. p.s. - impressed with the usage of hence :0)

My creative zen neeon 2 (4GB) isn't turning ON

Try charging it with a creative charger or bring it down to its retail store. The battery might be completely drained flat.
