On the back of the device, There is a small reset button, Hold that with a pen for 30 Seconds, that will reset everything, Including that password.

sometimes the default gateway is not always 192.168.1.1 sometimes it is actualy your ip adress for example 192.168.0.1 but that won't always work so go to command prompt and type 'ipconfig" and press enter first try your ip and then try the default gateway... for any more help please pm me for any more help...

You will need to use the reset button to reset it to the default settings. There is a small hole located on the router that you can use a pin to insert inside to push the reset button. Once pushed it should change it back to the default user name leave blank(no entry) and password is "admin"

you may have to do a hard reset of the router and start over with the install... there should be a small hole on the back or bottom of the router that will perform a hard reset of the router and it will be like taking it out of the box and then you can setup a password, etc and then set up the rest of your network.

You will need to reset the router - stick a pin in the back where the reset button is and hold it in there for 10+ seconds while power is on. This will set it to the default for that model router - you can check Linksys site for the manual to get the default username and password.
