Sumvision Cyclone Micro 2+ Media Player does not connect or register when connecting to WD Elements 3TB External Hard drive

I have previously used this media player successfully with both a 1Tb and 2TB external drive also WD Elements. The media player starts to connect with the 3TB hard drive but stops half way through connection, demonstrated by freezing along the blue bar connection screen

SOURCE: WD HD Media player damaged my hard drive??

Hi Dear! This problem could be solved through a software. You should use Western Digital Disk Manager, your WD hard disk will work properly after using that your WD hard disk pass all test of the software. When it will pass all test it will work properly and in other condition if it will not pass then you should try again so that the software will fix the error and it will made workable.
Thank You

Sumvision cyclone mkv 2 enclosure will not conect to my computer the drivers are missing where can i get them from

From this and several other posts you made on this device (I assume you are the same Anonymous poster), it appears you do not have a formatted hard drive installed in the unit, or you didn't know the computer is treating it as an external drive (even if it calls it an "unknown" USB device. Your computer is looking for the file system in the enclosure. The directions for finding the unit from a Windows computer (written for the mkv, not the mkv 2, but they would probably work the same) are given in the review article linked below. Note: if you don't find any "Unallocated" disk, look in "My Computer" for a drive that isn't your internal hard drive or other usual device. Probably all you have to do is save your media files to this drive and they will be available to play on your A/V system.

There is a "Firmware" update to Cyclone micro 3 .This can be downloaded from Sumvision web site :-

When downloaded copy the file on to a Memory stick or card and click the USB entry or memory card entry on the main menu, and the Cyclone will update itself .
There should now be an entry on the main menu for "internal storage"
