Question about Televison & Video
I just got a proscan lcd tv and i also got a surround sound/dvd combo. (the durabrand dvd home theater system). okay here is the problem. i tryed to hook the surround sound up to the tv so i could get sound from my regular cable channels on the surround sound speakers but its turning into a headache. But, the surround sound does work when play a DVD movie and the picture shows up fine on the tv. just want to know what may be wrong
This depends on whether you have digital cable box or not. If you have a Digi Cable Box look for the red/white RCA output and connect this via RCA cable to the Red/White Audio input on your surround.
If just Basic Cable look for a red/white audio output on the back of your televison. connect this to the Red/white in on your surround. Could be called tv in or auxillary.
