Hi Kim,
I,m no oven wizard, but i,m going to give you my common sense-logical point of view here.
I,d suggest that the actual problem, lies within a thermostatic device. the oven heats up, the thermostat reaches it heat limitations, as set by the control-dial.
the thermostat tells the fan to cut-in, to cool down the oven.
As for the noisy fan, originally if the fan was,nt noisey.
when the fan was relaced, perhaps gaskets were damaged or seals were broken. and the unit was never re-assembled correctly, when the fan was replaced a second-time, the service engineer, simply swapped over the fan, with a replacement, reassembling, as he,d removed ( Minus the Spacers Gaskets et,c ) that the first fan-repair guy disregarded.
You really need to get a Parts List to see whats not been replaced Correctly. It appears they,re sending you out an electrician, to do an engineers job.
I hope This Makes Any Logical Sense to you.
Good Luck with the repairs.

Mike @ Compurepair.

SOURCE: zanuisi top oven making noise

Yes , there is a cooling fan located at the top of the oven
It could be the fan blades catching, or a noisy fan bearing.
You would have to access it by removing the top oven cover to check., and yes it could be as a result of having it cleaned.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

It will not be the grill that is noisy, but more than likely the top oven cooling fan located under the top cover of oven

Tornado ngc oven has an F6 code. IR heats up to 1160 degrees but never says ready

unplug oven. Discharge Caps- if you don't know how to do this stop here and call a professional.

push the small red reset switch rear lower corner of oven. IR is a little higher than i like to see.

Test electrical compartment thermal-couple. located under top cover about 2 inches from the rear in center.

Test Electrical compartment cooling fan.

EC Thermocouple (P/N 700-1199)
Type K Thermocouple. Thermocouple measures the
temperature of the electrical compartment. If the
temperature within the electrical compartment is
above 158?F (70?C), the control displays F6: EC
TEMP. The control board checks the EC temperature
every 60 seconds.

Noise

It will be the external cooling fan that is causing the noise.
Probably worn beaqring or broken fan blade.
Normally, the only solution is to replace the fan motor.
It is located at the top of the oven, usually at the rear, but not in every case.

Thankyou.

My AEG B3101-4 oven works for about 30 mins, then seems to cut out... it won't work at all until it has cooled down, and then the cycle starts again... can you tell me which part is likely to need...

It is a safety thermostat that is cutting the oven off, due to overheating.
It could be that the external cooling fan is not working, or the cut out itself is faulty.
Check to see if you can hear the fan working.
This is usually located on the top of the oven , at the rear of the oven, on the top .
Hope this helps.

Noise from fan when electric oven is first turned on

The fans are not normally repairable, but there is no problem obtaining replacements.
On a double oven, there are usually 2 fans fitted.
There is an external cooling fan usually fitted on the top of the oven, you would have to remove the top cover of oven to access it, and possibly the rear panel as well.
Then there is the fan fitted in the main oven compartment.
If you open the oven door as it is working, you should be able to determine if it is the fan oven or the external cooling fan that is the cause of the problem.
If you determine it is the fan in the oven that is noisy, then to undo the fan blade assy, you have unscrew the nut clockwise to remove it. as opposed to the normal way of undoing a nut.
Please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.
