Question about Hansgrohe Home
Posted by Anonymous on
Depending on model, age and type of valve there could be several solutions. In order to give the most correct answer I will need the model number of the mixing valve/trim in question. If you need help identifying or servicing the unit feel free to contact me at Hansgrohe 1-800-334-0455 press 2 for tech and ask for David Scarborough. I'd be happy to help.

SOURCE: hansgrohe shower
it's possible sometimes you can get brand new junk. one question is the thermo coupler in the right postion? i would check to make sure that it is indeed picking up the temp like it should.

Your hot water must come from your coil in boiler and not from a seperate hot water heater - more then likely furnace hasn't been on for heating your house nor has it been on for any draw of hot water. You have to wait till it goes on and brings the water temperature up to your setting or get a hot water tank put in or a new type wall mounted gas instant hot water unit.

SOURCE: Leaking hand shower
If it is leaking right where the hose connects to the hand shower, there is usualy a rubber washer inside that may have shifted or need to be replaced. Overtightening is the number one cause for leaks on these. I would try to repair before replacing, as hand showers are costly. Hope this helps.
