Question about Uniden DECT 6.0 Cordless Telephone Expansion Handset
The difference is that when you set your phone on pulse it works like a switch on/off 1 pulse for number 1, 9 pulses for n9 and so and so.
When you set it on tone each number has a different tone, differnet sound frequency.
You should set your telephone on tone.

1)Make sure the phone is OFF (not in TALK MODE) 2)Press and hold the PROG buton until you hear a beep. The TALK button will flash while in this mode 3) Presd the TONE (*) button to select Tone Dialing or press the PAUSE (#) button to select Pulse Dialing 4) Press the PROG button again. The unit beeps to confirm.
