How do I get speaker to work with Samsung S5 with good sound quality

Be sure JBL is charged, press the power button on JBL, press the Bluetooth button on JBL. Turn on your phones bluetooth, make it visible to all devices, make it search for aplliances. When it finds JBL - pair it (you may have to make up a pairin number). The "sun" button controls different sound qualities. And turn the volume up! You should download the JBL MUSIC FLOW APP from the APP STORE to make the most of it.

The speaker on the earpiece side is not working I called the line on my cell phone. I can hear the voice over the cordless phone but the one receiving the call can't hear me. No dial tone too when I pick...

You earpiece speaker is faulty and needs a change, remove and use a multimeter to check the continuity int he Ohms range, if there is no response change the speaker. If speaker is working check the connection to the circuit as a faulty output can also cause the issue.

No sound

Hello
If picture is OK and there is no sound output from your tv, means either its speaker or the Sound output Ic is not working. The case of speaker fault can be easly detected without opening the TV. You just place your ear very near to the speaker side and switch on the TV by AC mains [not with remote control]. You may hear a "thumb" SOUND OR A "HUM" sound from it. If any one is there the internal speaker is working fine. The fault lies in audio output Ic stage. If there is no sound said above, speaker can be suspected. Befor confirming that the speaker is faulty, if your TV has an earphone or headphone jack in front, insert the earphone or headphone socket into it, and check whether there is any sound heard from it. If there is sound from headphone, means that the headphone socket is faulty, it does not bypass the sound to the speaker. When head phone is connected, the connection to the speaker will automatically cut of. When it is pulled out from the socket, the speaker connection will resume. If the changeover switch inside the earphone socket also show this kind of trouble. If the speaker inside is found faulty, unscrew it out of place after opening the TV, go for a same type and number, impedence and shape.
If there comes the above said "HUM" sound from the speaker, surely the Sound Output Ic is faulty. Replacing it will solve the probelm. Before replacing it, check it soldering points for any loose contact. It is best to resolder all suspected point is sound section before replacing the ic.
Note: In modern TVs there will be any trace of sound, without a video signal. Without video, sound is muted. ok.

Lost Speaker Sound

It does sound like a connector issue, don't you think?

What happens if you DON"T touch the connector but move the volume control on the controller?

Have you tried looking outward toward the source?

Phone will not ring, only vibrates even tho I use the side volumn control to choose ring volume one, or two, or three or four, or five. None work to make it ring

Hello

The reason your phone isnt ringing out is because the speaker of your phone is faulty.

The sounds made by your phone(including the ringing tone) is heard through the speaker and once it is faulty, you will not hear any sound coming from your phone.

The only solution is to have your speaker replaced.

Cheers

I cannot hear a person talking to me on my iphone unless I press the speaker button. They can hear me fine. Is this a software problem or hardware. Should I just buy a new phone?

Its understood that your mobile's software is working fine because you can hear through speakerphone. The problem is with your front speaker. you can approach any mobile shop and depending upon the model of your mobile they will charge something from 200 to 500 Rs and replace your faulty speaker.

Everything works fine on the unit no problem until

3. If your Nuvi has a FM transmitter, is it selected to "FM" or "Speaker"? The "FM" setting will mute the internal speaker. Setting it to "Speaker" will send sound to the speaker.

if this side of it works then the FM transmitter is faulty

Check that the sound has not been MUTED

plug the earphone into the socket to see if any sound is heard. The socket is also a switch that takes sound from internal speaker to ephone and reverse.
If no sound is hear in either FM or normal mode your unit is faulty and needs repair

The speaker volume is on not very good on my new w890i.

I struggled with this looking for options in the menus. Eventually I realised that the volume buttons on the side of the phone control both the handset speaker and the speakerphone speaker levels - selecting Outdoor profile does not alter it - it is fine now I have turned it up using those buttons.
