Nook reset/ was caused by isound speaker

Did you perform a hard or a soft reset?
A soft reset is initiated by holding the power button for 20 seconds and should not erase any books.
A hard reset is performed under settings and selecting erase and deregister device. This will completely wipe all apps, books and settings from the device and restore it to factory default settings.
However if you just log in to your B&N account you can see what you have previously downloaded and just download them again.

I can't change the radio from am to fm. when i push the source button I get only am and aux in> i can't figure out how to get fm radio

not knowing what make and model your radio is i can't say 100% sure, but there should be a band button that should go from am to fm. some radios also have more than one fm selection. (fm1, fm2).

FM Radio

The RDS (Radio Data System) FM radio is built-in and offers instant and easy access to FM radio channels in your phone. A handsfree or portable speaker set must be attached to the phone, as the wire works as an antenna for the radio. You can then choose to listen to the radio via the handsfree or the portable speakers, or through the speakers in the phone.

check that there are speakers! stupid as it sounds, sometimes there are just covers with holes behind...

If there are speakers trace the wiring through to the source make sure it has been conected both ends...
