Question about Philips 51PP9303H Rear Projection Television
I was watching the tv and heard a pop or snap and the picture went out. The volume stayed on. There was no smoke or fire. It is a 51PP9303H/17 and is 4 years old

I have worked on dozens of the DPTVXXX models recently all with audio but no video. In every set the HVG was the problem.
If you are not sure how to find/repair/replace the HVG yourself goto http://www.TvRepairKits.com to get their how to guide that includes the part numbers, suppliers, instructions, etc.
Its an easy do-it-yourself fix.
