press ok button ..>> TAM
press down botton three times ..>> REGISTER
PRESS OK button .....>>PIN CODE
ENTER THE PIN CODE (0000)
press and hold the page button on the base unit
green light will light up
if this is successful the lcd will show >>SUCCESS
FAILED it will show>>BS SEARCH
If Failed just repeat a few times and it sould work...........

you have to press the answer machine button (3rd on the left with an R on it) then the display should say 'msg play' so press the down button scroll to OGM REC. record ya message after the tone then press ok when done. then scroll down the menus again (press the answer machine button (3rd on the left with an R on it) then the display should say 'msg play' so press the down button) scroll to TAM ON, press ok and thats the answering machine.

Just unplug the base/answering machine from the wall wait 5 minutes and plug it back in. If that doesn't solve for all of the remote handsets do that same with them. Sometimes I have to pull the battery from the handsets too. I have had this happen about 3 times now with 3 phone system. Usually giving everything a cooling off period with no power and then plugging it back in resolves the "searching" or "place in charger" messages.

when the handsets show searching, that indicates that they are having difficulty registering with the base. problem here could be the base itself. solution is to turn off base, unplug from wall socket, wait for about an hour, connect base and power it up. you may have to re-register the handsets for them to work again.
