Question about Cooktops
Does anyone know where the model number is located? There is a metal plate on the front underneath that has a Ser# ER 143407 and a Cat. # SU4-D and a listing for the Volts and K.W. However, nothing that says Model #. I've tried looking underneath the cooktop but I can't see anything so far.
SU4-D is your model number. This is a very old cook top. Older units have a catalog number and not a model number. SU4-D stands for surface unit 4 burners.

Try looking on the inside of the door and also next to the frame. If not here, take of the back of the stove and you should find it there. Call the 800 number for that brand and give them the ser #.
