Question about Kenmore 88732 Top Load Stacked Washer / Dryer
After water drains I hear a funnt noise like the motor want s to work but won't. I lift the lid and the clothes are just sitting there all soapy when I close the lid it immediately starts to spin.
A LOT OF TIMES WHEN YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE LID AND SHUT IT TO MAKE SOMETHING START TO WORK, THERE IS A CONTACT IN THE TIMER THAT IS GETTING A BAD CONNECTION AND WHEN THEY DO, THEY GET REALLY HOT AND STICK TOGETHER. BY OPENING THE LID, YOU ARE SEVERING THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE CONTACT AND IT COOLS ENOUGHT TO RELEASE, ALLOWING THE CYCLE TO RESUME. I WOULD SAY YOU NEED A NEW TIMER.
