Question about Blenders

Leaking blender My red, smoothie pro 600 leaks through the bottom of the blender no matter how tight the base is screwed on. I wondered if it needs a new rubber gasket.

I have same problem with leak from the bottom of my problend BL6000. I noticed a hairline crack in the collar. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

My red Smoothie Pro 600 base leaks also. I lost all my smoothie last time I used it. I was very upset about the mess that it caused. I have put it up and have not used it since. Looking for a solution. Thought I may need a new rubber gasket. I will see if it may be upside down. Did not know it had to be certain way. I am about ready to look for another one. Help, if you can.

Mine also leaks, it has a crack in the collar also, seems to me it is a defect, because this happened after the very first time I used it......not sure if I want to get a new part or just throw the whole thing away.

Mine also leaked from day 1. I just read in the manual to first place the bottom and blade assembly on the counter, then seat the gasket around the blade assembly, making sure it is just under the lip of the blade piece (careful, you have to maneuver around the blades). Then place the jar on the assembly and screw in tightly. This worked and I have no more leaks.
This is different than other blenders where you place the gasket on the jar and then attach the bottom. It is a poor design, but after what I paid for it, I am glad to be able to use it and not just trash it.

I know this may sound dumb but are you sure the rubber  gasket is not on upside down?

Check to see if the jar has any cracks or if the blade assembly or collar have any cracks.
Is it possibly leaking from the tap valve?
If the blades or tap lever are cracked I would recommend replacing them, however if the jar is cracked i would just buy a new blender. These are great for smoothies but they are all discontinued and parts wont be available for much longer.

My jugs are leaking too at the bottom. If anybody finds the replacement jugs somewhere please let me know. I have a double smoothie maker model 5787. Thanks! email me at javstarz@hotmail.com

My blender would do that if I didn't screw the jar on firmly enough. Sometimes the action of the blades will even loosen the bottom from the jar during blending, so I always hold the jar handle while the blending is going on. That way if it starts to undo, I can twist it back tight. Before I learned that trick I had smoothies leaking out the bottom - what a mess! Also make sure you put the gasket/seal on in the right order. If it's in the wrong place it won't seal correctly.

Leaking blender

It could be the gasket, could definitely be that crack in the collar, and even possibly the blade assembly - here is the official website to get all of those parts:
