SOURCE: How to draw a trig

The variable theta is reserved for polar plots. So if you want to graph functions of the form y= expression, you must use the default variable x. Thus draw y=sin(X). Make sure your calculator is configured with the correct angle unit (degree or radian).

If you use degrees the window dimensions for x must cover an interval of 360 degrees, to have a full period. If angle unit is radian, then choose an x-interval between [-pi and pi] or between [0 and 2pi]

Just wondering if the other functions are working.

The manual references setting up angle unit and setting up the "comp for mode" in the setup.

The keys you should be pressing to do this calculation are on page 51 (2-31) of the attached manual.

Good luck. If unsuccessful, please repost.

If you want to learn how to program this calculator, I suggest you visit the Casio World website to download a copy of the manual for the FX-9750GPlus (the older version of the calculator). The last chapters contain sample programs you can type in your calculator. Study the programs specially the Input/Output and a few commands and experiment with them. With practice you will graduate to more involved programming.

Here is the link to the website to download the manual.

On the site you will also find a link to the program library for the FX-9750GPlus. Download them and transfer them on the calculator.

The inverse sine is defined only for numbers in the range [-1, +1].

The sine of a number is at most 1.0. There is no number whose sine is 1.5, which is what you're asking for.

The same applies to the cosine and inverse cosine.

No, it does not. You will need a graphing calculator such as the Casio FX-9750G Plus or the newer version FX-9750 GII.
