Question about SHARP MX-3100N
I don't even see an option to have the default be printed in color and it doesn't seem to detect any driver updates I downloaded from the Sharp website. I am using the new MacBook Pro. Please help!!

Thanks for posting the obvious weatlandsvc. If i were to just point people to the vendors driver page, and pass that off as the answer, I would be fired. Thanks for the obvious.
I'm working on solving the real problem!!!!!

Here's a new solution that works. When adding the printer, choose "Generic PCL Printer". This will allow you to print from your Mac to the Sharp Printer without buying the PostScript chip/kit for the printer.

Does your unit have a PS3 expansion kit. if not you can only print using s PC, not a Mac. A work around is to use the Generic PCL driver available on later model Macs
