SOURCE: I have an LG WM2277HS.

Check first if there's any restriction in the basket and the drive system. The stator and therefore the rotor overheats either due to restriction in the drive system or the stator has shorted coils that result it to draw more current making it overheats. Th problem is in the stator if no restriction with the drive system is found.

SOURCE: le error code

LE is a locked rotor code, but usually means the sensor is not functioning. replace Hall sensor, if that doesn't fix it make surer the drum turns freely. the rotor never goes bad, and the stator almost never goes bad. replace board if sensor doesn't fix it.

Le error is a motor error code. The motor error could be caused by several things including : motor, bearings , rps sensor and wiring and in some cases all. continued use with this error could have taken out your mother board.

My lg wm0742hga front load washer machine over fill of water.

Hello Felipe;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

The LE error code stands for "Locked Motor Error." This is one of the more common error codes on LG washing machines. Ii is a fault condition. Read your manual where it explicitly tells you to use only High Efficiency (HE) detergent. Although, regular detergent is less expensive, using other than HE, you are going to continue to have problems. Such as premature drum bearing failure. This is an expensive repair.
In the LG washer, the LE error code is usually caused by the burned out hall effect sensor, Part Number: 6501KW2002A.

1.) Unplug your unit and remove the back cover.

Be absolutely certain that the HALL EFFECT SENSOR is installed correctly. Three white plastic tabs on the STATOR (motor) securely hold the sensor in the correct position. If any of the *three plastic tabs* were damaged during an attempt to remove the old sensor-this will require replacing the STATOR ASSY
Also, Check for any black marks on the wires or burns or broken wires.

How to locate a ball sensor in my lg washer

The Ball Sensor has nothing to do with a "LE" error.
A faulty Hall Effect Sensor or faulty Stator or faulty Main PCB are
suspects..You must remove the Rotor and then the Stator to get to
the Hall Sensor..

We have a Jenn-Air electric slide in oven, model W131. It appears to work fine in all respects except that it doesn't come up to the set temp even though it tells you it has. Set at 350, it notifies...

if you changed the sensor most likely it will be the clock assy.it's not just a clock it also has a computer board built into it.you're missing a few letters off of the model number so when you call your parts store give them the full model number so they will sell you the right clock assy. i believe your board is around 150 dollars.if the elements are good and a new sensor all that's left is the board or clock assy. good luck with your stove.

LG WM2277HS error code LE

This is from the service manual for your washer. The hall sensor may be defective but you will need a technician to check out the other things listed here. The sensor is not covered for 7 years. Good luck

LE fault code for LG WD-1019bd washer

I found that in winter time not a problem with my LG front loader, but when the temperature went over 30 Celsius the problem came back and intermittent like yours did, there was also an unusual noise coming from the machine.
What I did to fix the problem was to remove the stator and place it in the freezer for about half an hour or so, I also cleaned any minor dust and grit from both the Stator magnets and the Stator drum, replaced it still very cold and now it works well with no more unusual noise and the outside temperature has no more bearing on the machine not spinning this day!
I hope this helps!
