Re: sony screen replacement
Go to sonytv.com parts see if you can get one cheaper there.i dont know how old the tv is but dealing direct with sony should bring the cost down somewhat.or you may waant to advertise in the local paper and see if someone out there has one theyd sell cheap.

It's not mad sensor , it's MAP - manifold absolute pressure or a MAF - mass air flow sensor ! You can go to the parts store an they will help you out. Or you can go to a auto salvage yard an find a vehicle like yours an get used parts cheaper !
If anything will make a dirty screen clean and looking like new again without damaging the screen it's Weiman E-Tronics wipes. You can pick them up for around 4 bucks at Ace Hardware and they are amazing. My ex got mad and poured a melted candle down my 72 inch flat screen tv after an argument and I tried everything. Then I went in to ace to pick up a bolt to fix a cabinet and saw the wipes. I though why not so I bought them and brought them home and used one wipe and it removed it all. Then I used a second wipe to remove the shine the wax had made. I highly recommend them. If its something wrong with the crystallization however, I cannot be of service to you. Hope this helps:)
My daughter cracked ours when it was 3 days old, like a lovely spider web, on the right side about an inch and half in diameter (she threw a brush). I used clear nail polish. If you have a big crack though, dont think that would be of any help.
I'm muziclady & I had three choices to choose for replacing the screen. The first was to purchase a new screen through Sony's parts dept. site
Secondly I found this this site that makes rear pro. screen antiglare screens: http://www.glarestopper.com/measure2.php
Also from this site, it has instructions for the removal of the screen to measure & re-install. [which is easy]. The actual screen size for the 61" is 58x30 inches, & it's referred as being a 61" Projection TV Screen Only [Lenticular Fresnel] .
My final choice was to Google for a screen replacement. I was fortunate to find a used one from an RCA television..It's the exact same size, etc.
