Question about GoVideo Rave-MP ARC5.0 MP3 Player

Open Question

XDisk MP Player

I have tried to upload a video to my MP4 player but I get a file format error when i try to play it. This was a file i ripped from a DVD using Aimersoft to .avi format (preloaded video on MP player is .avi).

i also tried using the converter on the cd i got with the player but it wont fully convert a file; either up to 41% or 99%, never fully.

Does anyone know how to resolve these issues.

The solution is, u gotta use the converter that comes with it. Its in the cd. Set to the correct resolution, which is 220x176 for ur model.

Video file shows file format error in mp4 player. videos does not run

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. I do convert the video in the format of Mp3 but still i cant recieve the file in my mp3 player instead it shows no file.

probably it is a mp4 player and will play just that format ...the idea is to download a converter that will allow you to adjust the bit rate and the framerate of the file ...
so ...after that take a look on the properties (advanced) of one of the files that do plays in the player ...and after that convert the files you want to add to player by the exact format ...(mpeg4...or mp4..or avi ..) including the framerate ..and the bitrate ..
Another thing ...even if the player can display pictures...if it is not an mp4 player will ot play any video...but just pictures...and mp3(sound ) files...no matter if it has or not display capable to do that ..Only mp4 and avi players do that ..

My sharper image touch mp3 player won't play .avi files.

The problem is that the player of this MP3 has a corrupted program. If this device could play .avi and .mp4 before, you need to contact the manufacturer and have them reloaded the program.

But if you haven't tried playing .avi and .mp4 file format before, then refer to the user manual to verify it this device supports those video file format.

Thank you!

Warning File Format Error

It seems that your trying to play a video that the media player does not support. The video works on your computer because the computer supports many more video file formats that the media player does. Make sure that the video your trying to play has a .mp4 file extension after the file name, meaning that it is a mp4 file. Try another known working mp4 video file.
good luck and i hope this has helped.

Can't play videos

You need to use the Media Converter that came with the installation CD - must run video files only through it. Check manufacturer's website for software if you no longer have install CD.
