Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

Suddenly I cannot change the orientation of my spreadsheet.

When I try to change to a different orientation ie. landscaping, I get an error message as follows: This is not a valid measurement...enter a number between ? and ?. This makes no sense, because all the measuements are correct ie. 11 wide by 8 tall. Please help.

Try going to help/detect and repair.
if it doesn't work, reinstall office.

Right-click the cells and go to 'Format Cells'. Then, select the correct format. If you're wanting to leave the slash (/) in the number, you'll probably have to make it a text format.

Which browser are you using to download it? IE, Firefox, Chrome?

Try using a different one and see if you get the same message ;)

Microsoft Works Spreadsheet auto changed to "read" only


you can save it and replace the name to something different and it will change it back, then if you would like to change it back to the original name you can and it will not be read only

DeBug appears whenever


what IE are you using?
the debug will appear when you using IE6. the reason is that most of th web site have activex. IE6 can't handle it. you need to install IE7 sp1.

This can be caused by errors on the CD-ROM media, or by a bad CD-ROM drive. Try using a different CD-ROM drive if you have one.

Extended desktop rotated, can't turn back.


Click on the extended monitor which is out of sync with the main monitor and click CTRL + ALT + UP

if you open the website and your IE crash, don't open again. try windows update, maybe there is an update for your IE. Otherwise using mozilla firefox
