Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
I woke up this morning and the keypad on my Razr isn't working. It will ring and allow me to answer, but I can't make outgoing calls or get into any of the other options? When I went into the At&t shop he just tried to sell me an upgrade and not help in any way? Is this Motorola's way of making sure people constantly upgrade? By shutting the phone down? Help!
Hi There, Your phone is not shut down by any means. The problem u r having is with your flex cable. This is located under the keypad. It's a little difficult to change but a good tech can probably handle this problem for u. You can buy the flex cable off ebay for around $15 with shipping included or just take it to a repair shop and have it replaced there once they have the part.This will solve this problem or for a second try maybe the connection on the screen is dirty and needs cleaning with a spray of contact cleaner.Make sure u use something that evaporates.
