Why water under crisper ..Frigidaire top freezer

You have a frozen or stopped up condensation drain line. Disassemble freezer to access evap coil and defrost ice in drip pan and drain line. You probably should replace the thermostat(cold control) if it hadn't been set to the coldest setting or if the fridge hadn't been opened for a long period of time prior to this problem. If the drip pan and drain aren't frozen then blow out the drain line with hi pressure air

At the bottom drawer of freezer it has a frozen layer of ice which has now stopped the drawer from being removed.

Underneath the evaporator (cooling coil) located in the freezer is a drain pan and drain tube used to carry away the water that accumulates during the defrost cycle. This pan or drain line is probably plugged with debris.

How do I stop freezer from leaking water

A drain plug is a small hole inside your fridge to allow for moisture to escape. The reason its leaking water is because its not cooling the water to ice or its defrosting the ice to water. make sure the door closes shut and turn it up a bit as it has been very hot recently

My Frigidarie model #: FRS26ZGH is freezing water on the bottom of the freezer and leaking out onto the floor. I understand that the drain plug may be frozen. However, I do not see a drain plug or know...

The drain trough is at the bottom and way way back on the freezer side. After you get rid of the ice you need to get a flashlight and look way in back and at the very bottom of the freezer. You should be able to see the drain trough. It will be frozen, you need to get rid of the ice and then clean out the drain tube.A hair dryer might work to melt the ice but be very carful not to melt anything on the refrigereator. Then you can put hot water in the trough to be sure that the drain line is clear. Hope this helps.

Dain line frozen

Unplug the power cord and leave the door open for 24 hours to defrost the drain line. You can also take a blow dryer and melt the ice out of the line by aiming the heat towards the frozen drain line and melting the ice within a few min allowing the water to flow again.

Water leaking from bottom and ice maker is not hooked up

you certainly have a plugged defrost drain, and thats where the water is coming from.
if its a side by side then the drain line is in back of the unit by the compressor area. you may be able to remove the line and clear it out, that should be enough.
if its a top mount freezer then its harder to get to the frozen drain. you have to go thru the back of the freezer section and remove the rear panel. the drain is under the freezer coil.

Frozen water on the bottom of my Amana freezer

Your drain line is clogged. Take a small diameter pice of wire and snake out the drain line from inside the freezer.
You may have to access the back rear near the compressor and separate the drain line there and clean it further.

Plugged defrost drain line in KitchenAid Refrigerator KTRS22KHBT00

If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me
algae, bread ties andf other thing mysteriously get in there and clogg it
