I have the same issue. Had it before and it was the timer. I was out of town on business and TV would come on at 10 or 11PM while every one was asleep. I had to wait for it to come on to fix it. This did not work for me. So my question is....can you over-ride the timer once it is set and power button nor the reset does not respond prior to the timer turning it on?!

    Menu button did not help!....Thanks

  • instag8r67 May 11, 2010

Should you unplug while holding "MENU"?

Press and hold menu button for 8 sec, then unplug for 1 minute. Plug back in and 1 minute later it will pop up for you.

your projector bulb went out. you need to call the manufacturer and order a new bulb. they cost 300 to 400 dollars a piece I believe your tv only has one bulb and they are really easy to install.

Mitsubishi hdtv1080 won't turn on. green timer light flashing

could be a lot of things really. when you replace the bulb, there is a switch that will prevent the tv from turning on if the cover isn't sitting correctly, by moving it that might have shifted so it would blink, but not turn on. if not, well get it serviced, sorry
