Re: Cannot log in "CORRECT" password to connect to a...
Chances are you are using OS X 10.4.11 or lower, when you connect with that version of the OS, the default connection to a wireless network is WEP, but if the network requires WPA or something else you have to manually select it, then put the password in.

1) You need to configure your Mac (the one connected to your modem) to share its Internet connectivity with other wireless devices. To do this, select System Preferences from the Apple menu, and then click on Sharing. 2) In the Sharing window, click on the Internet tab to bring up Internet Sharing. Select Built-in Ethernet from the Share your connection menu. Then, select Airport in the To computers using list 3) Click on the Airport Option button to configure some wireless security options. You Only want to be sharing your wireless connection with Your Other computer. Enter a Network Name, select channel as Automatic, and enable encryption and enter a WEP password, which will be required to join your new wireless network. now click on Ok 4) Now your mac is acting a wireless router just connect to your network from other computers and enter the WEP key when it ask for it. You found this to be an excellent solution when you don’t have a wireless router, but would like occasional wireless access in your home or small office. Regards Sandeep Shrivastava

When you opened the box and switched the mac on for the first time, After you have had the dinky introduction video and the request for your language of choice, one of the first things it would have done is scanned for wireless networks and shown you all that it could see. It would then ask you to chose which one to use and (if necessary) type in its password.
That, normally, is all you do. From then on the mac logs in to the network automatically.
It would probably be a good idea if you could explain what happens or how you are trying to add the mac to the network, because normally it's a couple of mouse clicks and typing a password.
Last month , i lost my windows administrator password. I solved my problem with the help of
windows password key 8.0. It worked perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank
password. Just an easy to use bootable CD/DVD . It can also be used on a USB Flash Drive. You

You need to check your network card software your problem may lay there. I've seen this problem many times in the passed. I will install a wireless network card or software on someones computer and two days later it will not connect everything looks fine. No matter what I do it will not connect. Remove net software for the card or on board wireless reinstall and boom it works fine.
