Skagen replacement band

I am facing the same issue as you. I have a Skagen 311LTRB watch without a band. I purchased the watch without a band, so I don't even know what the original band looks like.

It seems strange to me that Google doesn't even find that model of Skagen watch when you search on the model number. Makes me wonder if the watch is fake or real.

What I did was purchase an 18 mm mesh band and two pins from the following seller on eBay: "BandFever" / "18mm SILVER MESH WATCH BAND,COMES WITH 2 SPRING BARS". It only cost $12.95 with free shipping.

After installing the band, I am now able to wear the watch. And it feels very comfortable with the mesh band. However, it looks a littly dorky because there are overhangs on each side of the watch where the bands attach. I keep wondering what the watch appeared like when it was new with its original band.

Wish I could paste an image of the watch, but that doesn't seem to be allowed.

I have the Ladies Wall Street watch with the beige color leather strap. A red velour tracksuit rubbed some red on the band...how can I get it off? Thanks for your help! NancyMacNeill

Hi nmac1009

The most common way to remove any coloured spot is to gently rub it with some spirit or petrol.

You can take a earbud. Dip it in gasolene or petrol.
Squize it.
Then gently and very carefully rub it on the red spots.

Note: Be very careful while doing this.
Better you first check that it does not remove the original color of the leather strap.
Then only go ahead.

Hope this helps.

Ajusting the Clasp - Skagen signature mesh bands are easily adjustable in just three simple steps:

LIFT - SHIFT - PRESS Lift the slotted clasp, Shift the adjustable buckle to the desired position (make sure the clasp is set in one of the indentations on teh back of the band), Press the slotted clasp closed.

Adjusting mesh band

Take a small flathead screwdriver, or maybe a metal nail file and pry up the catch.DO NOT pry up by placing the tool on the rod used for hooking the clasp side to this side. Just stick in the metal piece that is folded over ( it should have a little notch in it) and pry it up. If you still don't understand I will be glad to send you a picture later on today. PLEASE let me know either way!!
