Here is a site with a download to sync your device.
Palm Desktop 4.1.4e and HotSync Managerhttp://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,kb=PalmSupportKB,t=ooccase,case=obj(32991)
(copy and paste in browser)

After tons of searching, this is the only thing that could even possibly work. Everywhere else I have searched and techs I've talked to say it isn't at all possible for 64 bit yet, because they aren't that advanced.

There is no hotsync available for your Palm505m running with Windows Vista however Vista has a Mobile Device Center built in that replaces ActiveSync. So it's not like they haven't made a compatible replacement, they just aren't using a separate syncing system like they were before

How can I transfer the data from Z222 to window7

Hello de nicola:

I have an entire page devoted just to the Palm Z22, listed below.

Many people report issues with trying to connect the Palm Z22 to new 64 BIT Operating systems like Windows 7 and Windows 8, and although somewhat obscure and time-consuming to set up, this can be done. ONE known software company has a 64 BIT driver, which, when used with other software, can get the SYNC functions working again. Another method is to put a VIRTUAL Windows XP on the Windows 64 BIT Systems, and then SYNC using the already working WIndows XP to get the data from files on the "new" 64 Bit Systems, and back...

I also deal with battery problems, touch screen problems, maintenance, repair, and upkeep issues, so that you may find the page of value! It is at:

http://kidbots.com/WEBADD/Z22_PALM_PILOT/Z22_PALM_PILOT.html

I hope this gets your Palm Z22 up and running again, and keeps it that way...

good luck

I am using Windows 7 and want to Hotsync my 1000s of Memo Notes from My Palm Treo 650, I got the latest Palm Desktop and Hotsync Manager but My Computer cannot Hotsync or even detet my Treo 650....Pls...

Palm Desktop compatibility with Windows 7 and 64-bit editions Palm Desktop 6.2 was designed for 32-bit editions of Windows XP and Windows Vista. You may be able to use this software with other versions of Windows.
Windows 7: Many users have successfully installed and used Palm Desktop 6.2 with Windows 7. Palm has not done thorough testing with a range of third-party equipment running Windows 7, therefore Palm cannot guarantee compatibility.
64-bit editions of Windows: USB HotSync is not supported. Instead, synchronize through a Bluetooth wireless connection: set up Bluetooth HotSync.

Lost my Cd to my palm z22. Does any one know were I can download the porgram for my palm. So I can put info on my computer. :)

behoney56:

The information support page for the Palm Z22 has moved around over the past few years. It is now at

http://kb.hpwebos.com/wps/portal/kb/na/zire/z22/unlocked/home/page_en.html

As well, I have an entire web page devoted just to maintaining, repairing, and using the Palm Z22, at:

http://kidbots.com/WEBADD/Z22_PALM_PILOT/Z22_PALM_PILOT.htm

As the Palm Z22 ages, there are issues with old and dying batteries, with the touch screen deforming and becoming useless, and various DATA connectivity issues, since the new Windows 64 BIT Operating Systems did not yet exist when the Z22 was diss-continued.

On my web page are links and USER information on the various solutions that they found, as well as a bit of information that I discovered, which is hitherto unknown!

Hope these tid-bits of help get your Palm Z22 up and running properly...

good luck

I am unabel to read the data cabel from my nokia 3230 mobile to my PC

First, you need to make sure that your computer system meets the minimum requirements:

System Requirements

Supported operating systems:
- Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit editions
- Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit editions
- Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (Service Pack 2)
- Windows XP (Professional or Home Edition) Service Pack 2 or later

Once your system meets the minimum requirements, you need to download the Nokia PC Suite on your computer. To download, click the following link - scroll down the page to locate your phone - and click on the download (7.1). http://tiny.cc/TzXLN

After you download and install the Nokia PC Suite you can find it by going to: Start > All Programs > and look for Nokia PC Suite. This will allow your phone to communicate with your computer.

If you found this information helpful, please give me a big thumbs-up when you rate my answer, Thank you.

How to sync Palm T3 to (Dell) 64 bit laptop via Bluetooth

if you are using 64 Bit operating system you may use following procedure
1) Start > Run > msiexec /unregister
2) In regedit, find the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer
3) Change MsiExecCA64
From this: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe
To this: C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\msiexec.exe
(This assumes a default Windows directory.
Change to reflect your configuration if needed.)
4) Restart the Windows Installer service
(Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services)
5) Install Palm Desktop!
To go back to the previous settings, just reverse the change made in the registry, and stop/start the service again.
You can also set it back to normal by re-registering the installer:
Start > Run > msiexec /unregister
Start > Run > msiexec /register

Older palm products and vista aren't compatible. You either needs to transfer info via bluetooth or upgrade your palm if you wish to continue using vista.

Installed software on new laptop & can't hotsync

Yes, just go to the windows website and have it check your system for any updates. It will check your system and see what updates you need. I'll be honest with you, vista can be a pain in the backside but it also can be great and I'm sure will be great once they work all the bugs out.
