- Mine won't turn on either...It'll flash the purple Sony Walkman screen and then go black if I hold down the on button, but that's it.
I had clicked play on a song and it just shut off.
It won't charge or do anything besides flash that screen.- fruitysplash

- I had the same problem. I tried resetting it and it never would do anything so I decided to plug the mp3 player into the computer and try to charge it and it still wouldnt do anything. So make a long story short, while still plugged in I took and pencil and tried to reset and it came on finally. It said low battery so i charged it and now it is working good so far.- GuestJan 28, 2009

Littlelago might be right. I had 4 gig of music on mine. It wouldn't turn on or get a library ready. The last thing I did was return it for another. Never got the old one to turn on. The store I bought it from let me return it.
