Hello,

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Hope this will help in solving the problem, and do take care in handling the set

The color is really dim,

i have a wd62528 62" dlp hdtv that shows a picture but very dim. I have tried numerous things including factory reset and checking the lamp. I started to get a new lamp but was told if i have a dim picture getting a new lamp will do nothing. However, Mitsubishi support said that if i have a dim picture but was not continuing to get worse or darker, then they were 100% sure i just needed a new lamp. I'm confused. Will a new lamp solve my problem or no. i would just buy and try but it is very costly. please help

Lamp doesn't light on SP 500, SP-Lamp-017. How do

you'd need the lamp on to get into the menu to reset the timer, so it's not that. if the door hits and activates the switch, it may be the ballast.
