SOURCE: International Power

You have probably permanently damaged your turntable. The voltage supply in Germany is 220V AC, whereas in the US it is 110 V AC. It is just possible that all you have done is to blow a fuse in the unit, if no external fuse holders are visible then try opening up the case and looking for one near where the power cable enters the unit. If you have no luck with that then the transformer is almost certainly burnt out - this could be replaced but it is unlikely to be something you can do yourself. Please don't plug anything else that is designed for 110V into a European socket, regardless of being able to get an adaptor that will fit the socket - the voltage is different. It will almost certainly die as well and the possible risks of electric shock, fire etc. are quite significant. Hope this helps, if you want to try and get the unit repaired in Germany please ask again with details of your location and I will try and find you a reputable repair facility. If in doubt about which of your items can be plugged in in Europe then please ask as some can be switched to deal with the higher voltage, although not all. :)

SOURCE: Crosley traveler turntable noise

Hello attaboy. You may need to check you ac cord if the noise is in turntable, radio, & cassettte mod. If it has a 3 prong plug than you are missing a GND connection, in the cord or inside the unit. If it has a 2 prong plug than take it back or open it up and replace filter capacitors or bridge rectifiers in units power supply.

Crosley turntable

The Crosley CR6019A Executive USB Portable Turntable is sold in the USA, so I would say it is a 120 volt machine, however, it does have a small AC adapter, from 120 volts to whatever the voltage the machine uses.

I would get a vintage turntable and not a new one inexpensive one. The new record players do not last.

Crosley turntable won't play through home stereo

Quite possibly the sockets you put the deck is not designed for the playback of phono signals. They should be marked "phono".
Other issues are earth connections.

Crosley CR249 warped table

Sounds like you need a new platter. Has the platter worked OK before or has it always been like this?
I suspect you might have to contact Crosley to see who supplies parts.

I should imagine the belt has either slipped off or broke. If you lift up the turntable matt you might see it.
