Question about Sony Handycam DCR-PC105E Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Will Not take Photo's

Camcorder working OK. But when I try to take a photo; the green dot appears on the screen and the camera focus's, but does not take the photo. I can access the memory card and delete photo's but it will not add new ones. I have tried a different memory stick, taking photo's with the A/C plugged in and formatting the stick with no luck.

I charged the camcorder for 24 hours to re-charge the internal battery, and i this resolved the problem.

I have the same problem described by Xero but have not managed to solve it even after more than 24 hours of charging. I would further add that I am able to record video clips in mpeg format on the memory stick but nothing doing when I try to take a photo. Any ideas for fixing the camera wuld be highly appreciated.

Why are my photos out of focus??

Check your settings - try taking sots with the different focus settings and compare. If all photos show some identical signs, you need a fix on your camera. If, for one photo taken with the auto focus settings, look different, you need more practice with your camera.

My samsung es80 does not make sharp pictures anymore

Difficult to go on only does not make sharp pictures anymore.
Seeing one picture says more than 1000 words. Still I give it a try.
When you are sure you did not change the focus settings and don't switch over to macro settings, while shooting normal, I can't help. But I do advice to look in the manual on page 41 and put the camera in Auto focus. (Not one of the macro modes) then when shooting, wait till the camera has focused, while you pressed the shutter realise button half. When the camera is in focus, the square in the middle of the screen becomes green, press the button down. (without moving the camera)
Also select a high resolution (big photo size) because small photo size is easy seen as a blurred picture.

Camcorder keeps reading internal memory full and just put new memory stick in camcorder how do I get out of internal memory

Your Sony camcorder has internal hard-disk and records by default to this media. If this is full, you need to offload the recordings and free up some space on the disk. But to select the memory card you can do the following:

Selecting the recording media for movies:
Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under
[MANAGE MEDIA] category) [MOVIE MEDIA SET].
The [MOVIE MEDIA SET] screen appears.

Touch the desired recording media.

Touch [YES] .OK
The recording medium is now changed.

For still images:
Selecting the recording media for photos
Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under
[MANAGE MEDIA] category) [PHOTO MEDIA SET].
The [PHOTO MEDIA SET] screen appears.

Touch the desired recording media.

Touch [YES] .OK
The recording medium is changed.
Hope this helps, if more help needed, reply back.

Blury screen

HI there your screen is ok but sorry to say that the lens does not focus because the lens guide pin is damaged or dislocated. So replaced the guide pin or repaired it. After that your camera will work properly. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.

Cant delete files off cam corder jvc mg145aa model

There are two options to delete pictures from your camera:

1. You can delete the picture with the camera itself:
  • On the back of your camera, move the switch down from the red camera symbol to the green arrow symbol.
  • On the top of your camera, press the POWER button.
  • Using the left and right arrow keys on the back of your camera, move through your photos to select the first photo you want to delete.
  • On the back of your camera, press MENU/OK.
  • Using the arrow key pointing up, select FRAME and then press MENU/OK.
  • You will now see, on your screen, the words ERASE OK? Press MENU/OK.
  • The camera will automatically ask you if you want to erase the next photo. If you do, press MENU/OK, but if you don't, press the BACK button.
2. The best option is to connect your digital camera to the computer via a USB cable. Once your camera is being detected open the photo folder and select all the pictures and hit the Delete key on the keyboard.

Have a brand new EOS 100D with Canon image

Have you actually cleaned the contacts or are you just looking at them and they "look" clean? Clean them with a cotton swab lightly dampened in rubbing alcohol.
