How do i download netgear wizard - NetGear WG111 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter

    Was something wrong with Netgear USB adapdor. I purchased new Belkin adaptor and prob is sorted. Thanks for your help

Initial Installation:

NETGEAR WPN111 Smart Wizard auto-shut down


Download the latest drivers, wpn111 3.0 from netgear website, install, restart, if problem persist;
open control panel, add hardware, manually install the device drivers, usually the list it shows you has a yellow mark. After doing this you should be able to open and follow the instructions.

I had the same problem and this it solved it.

I have a netgear wn111v2 adapter. I tried installin the software which i downloaded from the the netgear site....when i doubleclick the smart wizard...the window flashes and disappears...I'm using a...


1. Try deleting Cookies, Temp Files and restart computer
2. Download the files again and try installing it.
3. Still Same Issue, try different browser.
4. Still no Luck, Restart computer in safe mode with networking and download the software again.

Download the drivers for the adapter from the below link:

Download and install the drivers and configure the wireless connection using it.

How do I download Netgear wpn111 wireless, I recently rebooted my computer and I can't find the software to download it (CD that came with it)! Can you please help? Cheers!


Hi Friend, In order to download the driver of your device please follow the steps: 1) login to this link http://kb.netgear.com/app/products/model/a_id/2620 2)After login to this link you will see four tabs,out of those four tabs,click the tab named "DOWNLOADS" 3)download the driver from there and save it to your desktop. 4) after downloading the drivers, plug in the device to your computer 5)You will get a New hardware wizard found message box 6)There will be four radio tabs,please select "no not this time" and click NEXT 7) Then select the file where you have saved on your desktop 8) Install the drivers and click finish and restart your computer Enjoy working with your wireless device

Installation of netgear wg111vr3 will not complete as the install wizard says that the system cannot find the file specified
