Hi there ! I've connected my Philips PSS-110 with my computer, I tried to delete the songs that were on it , and I couldn't see them , so I formatted the Philips PSS. After that I transfered some mp3-s...

Hello,

Looks like the player's functions have been deranged after it's been formatted.
Upgrade the firmware by using the PSS Device Manager.
Go to the support site for downloading and installing this device manager onto your computer.
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=PSS110/37&slg=en&scy=US
To get to the download for the firmware upgrade
open the link in a new page and
accept the End User License Agreement ( EULA )

Install the upgrade onto your computer and follow the steps.

My mp3, file system error

you may have to upgrade your mp3 device software.
  1. you can do this by installing the software from the installation cd in the computer
  2. connect your device to the computer
  3. there will be a software installed in the computer called firmware manager, double click on it .
  4. after you have entered the pop-up window there will be an option to upgrade.
  5. click on it to reinstall and upgrade your device software.
but doing this will erase all the details in the device and all the settings. so make a backup of the songs and any other details in the device.
the solution which i have given is for a philips mp3 player. if yours is a different one please refer to your instruction manual for the firmware upgrade!!
