SOURCE: Our Ferguson FRG-CR100D DAB Alarm Clock Radio has

Hello
I experienced a similar problem some time ago. I thought I was responsible for the problem because I run the radio of a dual voltage shaver socket and accidentally switched the socket output to 110v. From that point on the radio did excactly what you described. I perservered in trying to find out why but to no avail so I abandoned it. Some months later out of curiosity I plugged it, switched it on and it worked perfectly.
Try leaving it unplugged for a few days (which by this time will have already passed). It may just recover like mine did.

Audio output from digital radio failing

No solution I'm afraid! I have exactly the same problem! Did you work out how to fix it or what? This happened to our radio yesterday and I've pushed every button I can to try and sort it. I know the speaker works and is connected because I can hear a faint buzzing sound when the radio is switched on.

Setting the reset stations on a DAB radio

I used lateral thinking! looked at the instructions for my other matsui DAB radio and worked it out from there. With this Ferguson model you have to find the station you want manually and then press one of the preset buttons (it only has 4 but these are enough for me)

Ferguson FRG-R121D digital radio doesn't work. Only works on fm stations and then very poorly. Takes a long time to switch on with continuous clicking noise.

Hi,
I had the same problem and solved it. Mine took about 10mins to turn on (constant buzzing and beating before this).
The problem is the 1000uf and the 220uf capacitors on one of the circuit boards near the front of the device. I replaced these with new ones and problem sorted.
So if you know what your doing, take it apart and solder in some new caps. If not...maybe get a new one!
