Did it stop sending/receiving or did you just get the phone recently, having popped your sim card from a non-smart phone into the Z740?
If so, you will need to purchase a data plan from your phone carrier in addition to your phone service. If this is not the case ...

With those basic settings you should be able to recieve and send. If you have a data plan. If you have a plan you should conact customer service with your carrier. The number for customer service should be displayed on the same settings page.
Hold on talk and cancel buttons and push reset button once. Hold on talk and cancel buttons until you receive message on the screen saying, 'this will delete all your data in the set except the rom', then push center button to hardrest. Before resetting keep a bcakup of your data if there is an important data in your set.
The LCD screen of my DTerm80 was showing a "CAMP-ON" message along with someone else's name. I fixed it by pushing the "Exit" button then the second softbutton, under "Clbk", then the first softbutton, under "All". I received the message ""CLEAR CALLBACK CAMP CANCEL"

it is possible that the extension that turned on your message light is no longer in service, making it an invalid extension
The MMS delivery process is triggered by a special SMS
message called the "MMS Notification". The "MMS
Notification" contains a URL pointer back to the full content of the MMS
message. So when the receiving phone gets the MMS Notification, it must connect
to the URL in the notification in order to retrieve the actual message content.
The error that you include above looks like the URL cannot
If it worked before, but it does not work now ... then it is
possible that something has changed with regard to your firewall or network
configuration. The receiving device needs to actually connect back to host
server in order to retrieve the MMS content.
It is also possible that something has changed in the
configuration at your mobile operator. Hope it will be helpful to you.
