good after noon ! press the adjust button hold it up to 3 second when the digit is blinking thats time to set press the mode to select the digit that you want to change after that press the stert or reset button to change no digit ! thank you ! god bless !

You can skip the part about removing the split tube. Instead of their pin pushing tool, I used a short piece of straight pin held with long-nose pliers while I squeezed using medium sized channel-lock pliers. A helper to hold the watch would've been good.

How do you set it


Press the mode button (bottom left button ) till you are on the function you want to set

Next press adjust button ( the top left button)

Press Mode button again till you get to the desired hour, minute, second, or day section to set.

Press bottom right button to move time or date forward.

On the casio a158w how do I turn off the hourly chime? Thank-you


Hi Ms. Sophie Desro,

If the alarm has sounded, press "A" (top left-hand button) to stop the sound.
To switch the Daily and Hourly Time Signal on and off:
Press "C" (lower right-hand button) while in alarm mode in sequence:
a. }}}} + BELL = Both alarms on.
b. Display Blank = Both OFF.
c. }}}} = Daily alarm on only.
d. BELL = Hourly Time Signal on only.

Test the alarm by holding down "C" to sound the alarm.
Please note b. and c. to turn off the alarms.

The alarm does not sound, instead the light flashes. I want to be able to hear it.

mcdevito75 here, Best Bet, look for a small watch repair shop in your area, mechaism could be stuck.

10 year old alarm chronograph


good morning ! your anadigi chronograph 388 is veery easy to operate,just change the battery then short the reset button the fix the case back and set the time use the crown and the button to set the time calendar and the alarm !thank you ! god bless !....
