This happened to me yesterday. My 3-year-old stuffed the Macbook's DVD/CD slot full of game tokens, hoping that one of them would play a movie. Took me his entire naptime to extract them, but everything works fine now.

First, open the guts of your laptop and remove the optical drive. Depending on your model the appropriate guide should be here:

Among those I found the following excellent guide for mine:

Once the drive is out you can skip most of the remaining (replacement) steps, since you're putting the same drive back in.

Now switch to the following guide to get foreign objects out:

Good luck!

How to stop the rattling from the catalytic converter on a 2004 grand marquis ls

Sometimes road gravel will get in thru the cooling slots. inspect it to see if that's the case. If you see any then use a knife like you do when robbing your kids piggy bank.

I want to make money boxes with my kids. I thought it would be a cute project but also help them learn a bit about saving. Any ideas how I would do this?

Here is a really simple idea for making your own money box;

1. Collect containers such as soup powder or gravy boxes.

2. Use gift wrap to cover the containers or plain white paper

3. Use ribbons, stickers, and colors to decorate the cover of your money box.

4. Now take the lid and very carefully pierce a small hole in the lid. Cut the hole with a knife into a money slot.

What are piggy banks?

Piggy Banks are a traditional way of calling the boxes or containers that money is stored in. Very often it's seen as a children's item but adults sometimes use piggy banks too.

How do I remove coin stuck in my jaguar xtype cd player

The only safe way to remove the coins is to remove the cd player from the dash and then gently shake the coins out. That said, you can take the car to any audio shop and have them do it for you or if you are so inclined you can do it yourself. Just be sure to disconnect the battery and also be sure that you have the correct code for the anti-theft mechanism.

Here is a link that will give you the flavor of all of the steps involved if you should choose to do this yourself

Dropped coins into papersheet feeder canon pixma mp780

The Canon is not a piggy bank! Even though it does **** money out of your pocket. Have you tried shaking it upside down? Failing this you really need to get a torch and have a GOOD look. If no coin disassembly will be necessary
