I tried jumping the wires where the attach to the furnace, still won't start

Contact Dayton on the internet for this problem. The diagram should be available on their site. Or they will give you a number for customer care. They can give you step-by-step instructions. I am a technician and this is what I would do as their are millions of wiring diagrams. Many are noy up to date.

If the system worked before with three wires then the fan wire(green) must already be jumped to the Y terminal at the furnace. You should be able to run the red wire to Rh and Rc, run the white wire to W and run the yellow wire to Y on the new thermostat. You will not have control of the fan (ON or AUTO) from the thermostat. R is 24v from the furnace, W is the Heating circuit and Y is the Cooling circuit.

i need help rplce thrmostat with a digital braueburn my furnance wont turn on no flashing lights cant reset the burner though has power what do i do shoul i reset the circut breaker that was never tripped though

Try jumping the two thermostat wires together to see if the heater starts. If so, replace your thermostat. If not, jump the two terminals where the thermosta twires attach to the furnace. If it starts, you have a bad thermostat wire or connection.
