Hi, could you please tell me the name of the device needed to run a data projector. The laptop I have is a IBM think pad t40 23883.

When we plug the projector in, the screen goes purple/pink.

Press Fn key located near to left CTRL key and F4 key .

Fn + F4 Keys

If display does not comes then try to prsee the same combination 2 - 3 times.

Laptops with a VGA output on the back shouldn?t need any type of ?device? for the projector to work. If its displaying an image with odd colors I would suspect a problem with the projector or the cable that connects them. The easiest way to determine if it?s the projector/cable or the laptop is try connecting it to another PC or laptop.
