Diehard 1150 AC problem?

If you are experiencing an AC problem with your DieHard 1150, which is a portable power source, there could be a few potential issues to consider:
  1. Check the power source: Ensure that the DieHard 1150 is properly charged. Connect it to a power outlet using the provided AC charger and let it charge for the recommended duration as mentioned in the user manual.
  2. Inspect the AC outlets: Check the AC outlets on the DieHard 1150 for any visible damage or loose connections. Ensure that the devices you are trying to power are compatible with the power requirements of the DieHard 1150.
  3. Reset the unit: If the AC outlets are not functioning properly, try resetting the DieHard 1150. Disconnect all devices and turn off the unit. Press and hold the power button or the reset button (if available) for a few seconds. Then, turn the unit back on and test the AC outlets.
  4. Contact DieHard customer support: If the above steps do not resolve the AC problem, it is recommended to contact DieHard's customer support for further assistance. Provide them with the specific details of the issue and any troubleshooting steps you have already taken. They will be able to provide you with more specific guidance or arrange for repairs if necessary.

How would I go about getting a charger

Depend on what kind of batteries, and how often you are going to use the charger, and for what purpose are going to use it.

If your battery accidentally discharge far from your home a Jump Start is a must. But Car batteries are shallow Cycle and need to be fully charged. If you want to Set and Forget Charger, then a Smart Charger takes care on his one for the battery. Automatically adjust the voltage and turns off when the charge is completed. Has the Reconditioning option, can display the battery voltage, and can check the alternator. Destroying a $120 battery is more expensive than a Smart Charger.

I use a Vector Smart Battery Charger - 2/10/20 AMP 12V fully automatic.

Retail $49.95 I bought on sale CLEARANCE: $29.95

If you have cars not driven in daily bases, or go in vacation, a battery Tender is a good option too.

Do I have a negative battery system or positive battery system?

If you have a 12volt standard electrical system in your vehicle.
It is both positive and negative. The travel inverter converts this 12 volt DC current into 110v 60hz AC current so you can plug in your electronics that require standard household current to charge/operate.
There is a built in USB port if you device will accept this for 12 volt power. It also has the power oultet with ground for 110v 6hz power.
Link below has a good picture and description. Hope this helps!

What does it mean when the check light flashes on my diehard battery charger after it seemed to show charging of the battery?

You have a bad cell or two in the battery most likely. Try putting it on another battery for awhile. If it still does it It is time to replace the charger.

I have a 2004 PT Cruiser Platinum series with a 2.4 liter engine, wjhat is a suitable replacement battery for this car; Sears die hard or interstate ?

Sears Diehard or Interstate would make a battery for your vehicle. Look for something with over 600 cca and you should be ok for the winter.

Diehard makes a Platinum battery, but it costs over $189.99.
Diehard Gold batteries are like $109 or so.

Walmart sells batteries that are comparable to the Diehard Gold for under $100.

However, I just bought a Platinum battery for my 1997 Cadillac Deville Limo and it seems to work alright so far and has a 4 year free replacement warranty.

In general, the more you pay, the better the battery up to the 'best' which is the Diehard Platinum.
Walmart and Interstate do not offer a battery that has as long of a warranty or as good of a design as the Platinum from Diehard which uses proprietary technology to get a better warranty than normal.

The Platinum name in the PT Cruiser has nothing to do with the Platinum name for Diehard, by the way.

Good luck on finding a suitable replacement battery for your 2004 PT Cruiser Platinum.

Have a Honda 2004 Silver Wing. Purchased a new battery last year. Have not ridden much since then and have had the battery out and on a charger for a few months....a Sears Diehard Battery Charger 10/2 amp...

Well, what I can see regardless whether it is a new or old battery, when you put it on a charger that are not automatic, it would ruin your battery elements. You can take the battery to a battery shop and have them tested it. If it is still good then do you notice a clicking (cranking sound0 when you try to start the bike? If not then check your starter solenoid as it may not power enough the starter.

How long does it take to fully charge Companion II batteries?

Hi. Always charge your batteries overnight after each use. Do not charge your batteries for days or weeks at a time unless you have a good quality automatic charger.
Most 4 amp chargers, charge the batteries up to approx 28.5 volts, and will maintain this voltage forever if left on. This will eventually shorten the life of the batteries.
The Invacare 8 amp charger is a fully automatic charger. It will take the batteries up to about 28.5 volts, it will hold this voltage for a few hours, and then drop the voltage to 27.6 volts ( 13.8 volts across each battery ). These chargers can be left on for weeks at a time.
Good luck. Neil.
