Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook
Here goes, I have a hp pavilion dv6000 laptop and I closed it with a pen inside. Needless to say the screen did not like that and it shattered the lcd. Now, I know I can buy a replacement lcd on ebay and I'm sure I could replace it on my own however I'm not sure if it will fix the problem. The thing I don't understand is do the lcd's come with converters or backlights? Or are those built into the lcd? How do I know that is not also broken? Are these located in the lcd? Where are they located? Could I have broken both of these?
It comes as all one unit...it is just a matter of getting the case apart, unplugging the LCD, plug in the new one...reassemble
