Hi, try connecting the power b+ and gnd and remote turn on cables only (dont connect rca input or any spks), if amp doesnt turn on you will have to take in for repair. no need to buy new amp, coz problem could be a burnt pcb track or even a faulty remote or FET circuit.if amp turns on then connect other cables slowly and monitor the power lite as you do connections. you may have a faulty spk load that will cause amp to stay off or in protection mode. cheers

My son accidentally the pos and neg speaker wires together and the fuses blew on the amp and now the power light wont come on at all do you think the amp is damaged?

If I had to guess by touching the positive and the negative terminals together it probably fried up the transistors. While back I did the same to my amp and poof amp no longer worked. Took the amp apart to find the transistors fried up. Ordered them from the manufacturer but never installed them, ended up buying a new amp. Mainly, replacing the amp doesn't mean it would fix the problem....

Hi Both my dipped headlight beams on my Sprinter van are not working, all other lights are ok. Could both bulbs have blown?

Definitely. Typically one bulb goes first, but the vehicle operator fails to notice anything wrong until the other bulb follows suit. It's then easy to make the mistake of thinking that both bulbs blew at the same time and that there's a more complicated fault.

You'll only find out what's wrong by removing the bulbs and checking, but note that a visual check is often misleading. Either use a continuity tester on the bulb or substitute a new one although it's not uncommon to find faulty new bulbs, so don't automatically assume a new one will definitely be OK. Continuity testing is definitely the best method.

Hope you get a quick fix and please take a moment to rate my answer.

The fuse blew on my spl 1920watt amp and now the protect light wont go off and it wont do anything

Did you put a new fuse in it? If you didn't then put a new fuse that is rated at what the amp calls for. If you have and the light stays on, then odds are there is a broken wire inside and the amp needs repairing or replacing.

2000 watt american legacy amp protection ligh wont go off

Same thing happened to me so I returned it for repair turns out it was an internal 25amp fuse on the output. Got it back an it sounded very weak now it does not play at all. Nothing wrong with my setup as I have now got an 800watt amp that is running great.

TV wont switch on

You most likely blew the "flyback". Without knowing anything about your TV, this is an educated guess. But knowing Phillips TV's, I'd bet that's what it is. It can be replaced, but I think you'd come out ahead buying a new TV. If you do purchase a new TV, Pleeeeeease!! get the extended warranty! You'll thank me later, I promise!

I have a Protron 32 in lcd tv, it just shut off one night and wont come back on My husband checked the fuse in the back and replaced it but it blew the fuse instantly what might be wrong and would it be...

depends on how old the tv is , i would persoanally take off the back cover and check the fuse to see if it blew , if not call the manufacter and tell them your problem if the tv is not that old , if the tv is more than 5 years , i would buy a new one , sincerely john
