Check the pipe the drain hose goes into. if this is blocked the water will overflow out of it. or there could be a split in your drain hose

SOURCE: Leak from maytag top load coin machine during spin drain cycle only

Possible that you would have a tub seal leak if it is only noticable during spin cycle. Possible that it "drips" slightly while in agitation, but not enough to notice it. While in spin mode you have a lot more parts moving as well as a lot more water pressure on the seal itself. Pump could also be leaking, but highly doubtful since it would leak a constant amount at all times. Good Luck!!! Jim

SOURCE: speed queen washer leaking & won't pump out water .....

Ok, so the leak isn't from the bottom?
If it is spinning before pumping out, the water very likely will rise out of the top due to centripetal force.
At this point, I would lean towards the timer being bad, since it is the "brains" of the outfit. The contacts that tell things to kick in (and stop) all are on this little item... at least on all the washers I have dealt with.
I don't see an age or model number for this machine, other than speed queen, so I really couldn't give much more advice without that.

SOURCE: our ultimate care II washer is leaking. I'm not

could be the tub seals, fill it up with water, put it on spin and look up where the trainy goes into the tub,if it's leaking there you have to decide if you wanna repair it or get a new washer.also it could be coming out of the pump when it drains, you need to just get in there with a light and check it out, remove the two screws in the back of the top console, the console is on hindges, lift it up and remove the two clips that hold the frame to the back, remove the lid switch wires and pull the frame up and forwards to remove it,now get a piece of wire and stick it in the harness where the lid switch goes, there are three holes plug the piece of wire in the outside holes and this will let you put the washer into spin cycle, look and see where the water is leaking from, could be leaking from the drain hose too but you gotta get in there and look, let me know if you need any more help

Well, there are a couple of places where washers can leak.
  • There are a couple of hoses underneath: from the tub to the water pump, and from the water pump to the drain connector.
  • The fill sensor switch has a length of small diameter tubing that connects to the outer tub.
  • The tub itself could rust through (as it did when my 1984 washer was about 22 years old)
  • The seal or bearing where the motor shaft goes through the outer tub could have failed.
You will have to take the back cover off and run a cycle to identify the site of the leak.

WATER RUSHES OUT FROM BOTTOM OF SAMSUNG TOP LOAD WASHER SW50ASP THERE ARE NO UNATTACHED HOSES

It is so common that the drain leaks in many ways and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occur. Removing and cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there are gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

Washer leaks out the bottom in rear of machine

Thank you for using FixYa. Does water leak out of the machine from the beggining of the cycle to the end? If it only leaks when spinning or Pumping out water and water comes from the rear bottom of the machine? This is where the drain pump is located and I would say that the leak is coming from there---either a perished hose or a loose retaining clip.

Leaking water from the bottom on spin cycle. Water in flowing down the front left corner near the foot facing washer.

Hello, how are you?

Check one thing for me. When it's in the spin cycle, the drain pump is pumping the water out..check to see if the drain tube behind the unit, that goes into the wall, if the water is coming out of that. Test this on a full load please..

Good luck :)

Water leaked from bottom of washer

Check the pump right where the motor shaft goes into it. The pump seal can leak right there and the water drips directly onto the floor. It will continue to run out after the cycle till the remaining water drains out of the tub and drain hose.

Washer will not drain water and is leakiing from

HI, this leak is caused by the back up or clog in the drainage system. use the following text to troubleshoot this issue.

Check to see if there's something stuck inside the pump or the drain hose connected to the pump (pump is usually located at the bottom and towards the back of the washing machine).

If the drain line isn't clogged, you may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. If that's the case replace the water pump. Note: if you have a belt driven washer, check the belt(s) for cracks, as this would be a perfect time to replace the belt(s) if needed.

hazy, it's possible it's running out your pump. You need to pull the cabinet off to get a real look at where the leak is coming from. Check out the pics...and post back.
