I need to find a puk for lg cookie

You can only get a PUK code from your service provider. It may also be on the original documentation that the SIM was supplied wit.

Your service provider will only supply the PUK code to the registered subscriber, so if you have a pay monthly contract then you just answer a few security questions and they send you the code. If you have a prepay credit SIM and have never registered it with the service provider then you will not be able to obtain a PUK code and must instead use a new SIM. You may need to get your phone unlocked if you wish to use a different providers SIM and in any case will lose all data stored on the PUK locked SIM, including the phone number and unused credit.

You haven't given any make, model or network details, but the situation is the same as incorrectly entering a PIN code too many times on a regular phone. Contact your network operator, they will probably tell you that you need a PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key).

PUK codes are only supplied to registered users, so if you have a pay monthly contract or have a registered prepay credit phone then you'll be given the code after the company asks you a few security questions. if the phone is an unregistered prepay credit model, then your only solution is to fit a new SIM card from the same network (if the phone has been unlocked to all networks you can use any SIM) but you'll lose all SIM data including unused credit and your old phone number.

Can I use my T-Moble sideKICK 3 for a prepayed phone?

Yes, usually. You will need to contact Mobile for another sim card however. Not all phones are able to be used for prepay though, can be hit or miss. Call up Mobile, from that phone (611), and ask them. You will need a sim card in it though (original card).

I got my sim blocked unfortunately,,i don't even

Once you have exceeded the maximum number of passcode attempts, the SIM will become locked and won't allow further attempts.

When that happens you must obtain a PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key). This can only be supplied by the network provider to the registered subscriber.

If the SIM is a prepay credit SIM which has never been registered with the network provider, then the PUK code cannot be provided and the SIM card is useless. All data on it such as the phone number, pre-paid credit and any contacts stored on it will be lost.

The telephone number of the SIM card is not necessary in order to generate a PUK code, but the SIM card serial number will be, and it is always printed on the SIM card.

The phone itself may also have a block on it, even if the PUK code is available as many phones enable the owner to set a handset specific security code (can be a passcode or can be a pattern drawn on the screen).

When you place a new or a existing SIM card from another phone provider into your mobile phone and it asks for a Security code then :-
This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in this phone or sign up with another phone provider using this phone.

You could ring the phone provider and ask for the unlock security code because you are going overseas and wish to use your phone with a prepaid SIM card from another country. This maybe a free service.
The other way to get your phone unlock is to use a phone unlocking company on the Internet, they usually charge a couple of Dollars for their services. Use Google and search for "Security unlocking code”.

Sim card not vaild

Hi
If the sim isnt accepted, that means that the phone is locked to t-mobile by the provider which she originally bought the phone from

The phone can usually be unlocked directly by T-mobile and would be worth a try to call T-mobile and provide them with the IMEI number of the phone (press *#06#) and get a unlock code from them.

Hope this helps
