Question about Maylong Tablets & eReaders
I recently bought a Maylong m270 tablet. It has work fine up until now but I just started putting on a number of apps to help with school. ie catchnotes, myhomework, ect. It has recently started to make a cracking and popping noise while at the same time the touch screen starts to lag and things start to go off on their own. This tablet is my main organizer at college and it NEEDS to function properly.

SOURCE: Thinkpad tablet pen problem
It could be a problem with the pen but I am not positive. I knew someone who had a problem a little different from this but involving the pen not working how it should. They called the company they got the laptop from (Gateway in their case) and they were sent a new pen for free. Lenovo might do that if it's under warranty or you could buy a new pen. It could be a problem with the drivers, though, in which case I am not entirely sure what to do. Maybe reinstall?

goto your device manager and then find your display driver and update it. Dont search for it, manually locate the driver being in the location where you extracted the driver. Then update. and bingo!

You can always check your keyboard settings using the On screen keyboard function.
Start menu-All programs-Accessories-Accessibility

Have you turned on the Touch feature on Windows 7 yet? That could be the reason why your touch screen feature is not working.
To turn it on please follow this:
1. Open your Start menu and type "Touch" into the search bar. This will show a variety of options, including the "Pen and Touch" options. Double-click it to open the "Pen and Touch" window.
2. Check the boxes next to the "Use your finger as an input device" and, if preferred, check the "Enable multi-touch gestures and inking" box as well.
3. Click "Apply" to set the options and click "OK" to exit the window.
Hope this helps!
