I suggest you take your receipt and turn it in. I had to replace my zen four times, and then I gave up. They've had tons of recalls on their products, and tons of bugs. I suggest getting a refund and purchasing something simpler and less-fancy looking--- but before you buy anything, perhaps go online and read a few reviews.

Seriously? Zen sucks. It's really better to get something different.

Not a problem, I just know from past experience that it's a baaad mp3, it's perfectly wonderful at first, but gets bad quickly thereafter.

Will not come on only the blue navigator button light works

Try connecting it to your computer. Once here, go to My Computer, and right click on the device. Scout for "Format Device" or something similar. If you don't see it, scout around. Try opening the device and looking there. This deletes the device and resets everything.

My sansa e250 mp3 player just fell down, after that, when i restarted it it is just showing the blue light but not showing the display on the screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Drop it again from a similar height

OK this is going to be hard to believe....the exact thing happened to mine. It dropped about half a meter onto a concrete floor and showed up with a blue screen and wouldnt shut off.
I unscrewed the back panel and unplugged the battery hoping that it would reset. After several restarts and unplugged batteries it was still unresponsive with the blue screen of death. So like any good tech i tried to reproduce the sequence causing the failure. I dropped it onto my work bench and plugged the battery back in. Worked perfectly after that and has continued to work perfectly since (nearly a year later).
I made sure i covered it with one of those cheap silicone covers after to hopefully absorb some shock after i got it working again. After a year of brutal treatment on military exercises this is the one and only problem i've ever had with my sansa.
Good Luck

Blue Light on, but screen not working?

The power supply for these small devices, Mp3 players and cell phones are low voltage, so battery terminals making good contact is very important. Because of the way they are designed, part of the equipment can be powered up, while part is not. Today I fixed the same problem wiilegend had on June 29 2008. I had this problem for days.I tried resetting it many times, removing and replacing the battery, using the Hold and Recording buttons, to no avail. A friend of mine had a similar problem with a cell phone where the keypad alone lit up upon powering, so he was the one that gave me the cure. I simply took an eraser and rubbed the battery terminals, and the Sansa E260 internal contacts, until they shone. I replaced the battery, screwed the cover on, and the unit was functioning again. All the best. Ramish Rambarran. Trinidad  West Indies.

Common problem...yet no working solution...

I think there's a capacitor that holds a charge for the blue-ring-of-death. The fix is to hold the menu button down for about 30 seconds (blue ring disappears) and continue holding for about 15 more seconds (or until re-boot). The additional time is required to discharge the capacitor.
If that fails, there is a safe-mode: place the device in hold, and press the mic and menu buttons at the same time. This usually doesn't apply to the blue-ring problem, but it may help.
